Along with pottery, travel is a beloved hobby. In 2023, my husband Shadie and I took a 5 month leave of absence from our jobs to travel and marvel at the world. An especially exciting part of the trip was spending several weeks in an immersive class with ceramics master Kwak KyungTae in Korean town famous for its pottery.
